The Ingush Culture Center of Tbilisi presented its latest scholarly publication, the three-volume "Ingushological Corpus of Georgia," at the National Library’s Exhibition Hall. The project was implemented with the support of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation.
Konstantine Gamsakhurdia, General Director of the National Library, addressed the attendees, highlighting the cultural and historical significance of the work:
"This is a dialogue between peoples, cultures, and memories. It marks another significant step toward understanding Caucasian relations, historical coexistence, and our shared cultural space. The National Library has always been a place where the history, language, and culture of different nations converge. The Ingush and Georgian peoples are bound by centuries-old ties, characterized by mutual support, friendship, and respect. Therefore, publications that research these relations on a scientific basis and introduce them to new generations are of particular importance."
The publication serves as a comprehensive collection, bringing together archival documents related to Ingushetia preserved in Georgia’s repositories. It also includes materials found in Georgian historiography, folklore, ethnography, and historical periodicals.
